November 25, 2010- Thanksgivng Day...what a perfect day to be thankful for Brazos as he turned 6 months old!
Brazos is getting so big so fast! An entire half of a year has flown by. This past month Brazos has been GROWING out of clothes faster than I can put them on him. We definitely noticed a growth spurt and he wears mostly 9 month size clothes, otherwise they aren't long enough! He's sitting up on his own although still a bit wobbly sometimes. He continues to eat baby food and cereal with a bottle to wash it down.
Here's the rest of the 6 month stats:
Length: 29.25 inches (98% tile)
Weight: 18.5 pounds (65% tile)
Head circumference: 17.13 (38% tile)
At his 6-month check up he got 2 shots; one on delayed vaccination schedule and the other was flu.
As you can see from the photos we manage to get him to smile often but he can be rather serious at times too. He still has reflux and although the medication helps with the burning, nothing keeps the spit up at bay so it has become quite normal for both of us to change clothes many times a day, or just wear it all day!

Brotherly Love:
Ready for the A&M vs. Nebraska game...reading his Baby Einstein book learning how to harvest corn!
Just look at that smirk...
Because reflux is still an issue we decided not to travel for Thanksgiving. Driving in a car 9 hours down I-10 with holiday traffic just didn't seem like an appropriate thing to do if we all wanted to enjoy the holiday. So MiMi and Paw Paw came to the Hill Country to celebrate and we were ever-THANKFUL for that!
