a 5 pound bass

April 25, 2009- Okay, so it wasn't really a 5 pound bass, but since Robert Earl Keen didn't name his song "A 2 Pound Bass", I had to go with this title.

Paw Paw took Pecos fishing on our recent visit to Louisiana. (Thanks to Mr. Kurt & Mrs. Tina for letting us fish!!!) He is becoming quite the fisherman and hooked himself a nice 2 pound bass. This was the first bass Pecos has caught and he was kind of shocked at the size of it. Remember, the small perch he's been catching lately are barely the size of his hand. Now he thinks he is a Bass Master. They say everything is bigger in Texas, but I guess that is not so true for the fish.And you can't go fishing without catching a perch so he got one of those too.
